n the inte- really didn't often . he track x SGIEQ si,g Mr. McManus . . . we tried to give him a bad time in iunior high . . . but he caught on to us early . . . in world history . . . it was learn, learn, learn . . . not always world history, though . . . sometimes . . . the best in current theater production . . . movie land or grand opera . . . he was president of the county teachers' group and occasionally we got in on a few of his professional problems . . . Those surprise quizzes Mr. Foreman faced us with almost every day threw us for a loop often, but we made it through math in iunior high . . . and checked in again as iuniors for American History . . . we'll remember him for his good coaching as assistant football coach, and JV basketball, and as sponsor of sophomore class . . .

ENGLISH She was nothing short of a demon in the classroom . . . with homework . . . oral grammar tests . . . outside reading . . . weekly themes . . . research papers . , . literature appreciation . . , and even sound-off . . . but we knew if we paid attention we wouldn't be in bone-head English in our freshman year in college . . . Mrs. Mitchell had fun with us doing the Conga and cha-cha-cha , . , she did a terrific iob with our annual every year . . . and shared sponsorship of F.T.A. with Mr. Nelson . . . Mr. Norman was a fanatic on English grammar, but our background helped us when we took senior Eng- lish . . . he didn't ever hurt any of us . . . now we wonder why . . . he should have , , . he had us in our green days . . . when it was more important, we thought . . . to be clever than to be intelligent . . . he sponsored us when we were in the 8th grade . . Mrs. Segerblom taught us English and wsrld history, sponsored us in our senior year . . , checked books to us in the library . . . and told us about the healtha producing seaweed . . , demonstrated correct posture . . . and advised us to get a slant board like hers . . . we liked it all because she had enthusiasm for her iolo . . . we liked the human interest stories she brought to class . . . her love for boating and water sports made her the envy of many of us . . .

Mr. Gid- dens was a stickler for a clean, tidy shop , . . he insisted on safety meas- ures . . . he taught us auto mechanics . . . and industrial arts . . . sponsored the iunior class . . . the hours he spent in helping make our proms a success . . . made him our favorite sponsor . . A neat hem-line was not the most important thing in the world to Mrs. Harvey, but it was one of the most important . . . any time we wanted to stall for time . . . a slight sug- gestion brought forth stories of her experiences in rearing her family . . . which were timely in family relations class which she taught . . , her clay was a full one with iunior homemak- ing, plus senior high homernaking, family relations and sponsor of iunior high and senior high F.H.A ....
