FINE ART A note ot discord . . . even the slightest deviation from the true note . . . brought a pained expression to Mrs. Garrett's other- wise pleasant countenance . . . she was a master artist at showmanship . . . we'll never forget our terrific glee club and band . . . madrigals . . . performances . . . neither will the public . . . she also taught speech . . . she had a reputation for being one of the finest musicians in the Southwest . . . because of her excellent performance with students . . . Mr. Sherman was really in the limelight . . . in 1958 . . . the only new teacher to BCHS . . . he taught us art and English . . . at the slightest provocation he would entertain us with his war experiences . . , his life as a commercial artist . . . and as a profes- sional baseball player . . ,

EDUCATION y This was more like it . . . we struggled through a semester in Health . . . waiting to get into activities . . . Modern Dance was not her favorite subject, but she did a good iob with everything . . . archery , . . basketball , . .tennis . . .volleyball . . . tumbling . . . calisthenics . . . sometimes we wondered how she did it all . . . sponsored G.A.A .... Junior Class . . , and Cheerleaders . . . Miss Clanin's patience and sense of humor were invaluable . . . Who can forget Nlr. Andree? No matter what the activity was in Physical Education, he could bring the discussion around foot- ball . . . this was his first year as head football coach at B.C.H.S. and also as athletic director . . . that was where his heart was and we found it interesting . , . our toot- ball season was a great success . . . thanks to him . . , -nd
