Foreign cultures were brou ht into view Exchange students from left to right Yoshihisa Shintaku Yuji Kubo Kristin Palsson and Oliver Stein Veronica Gonzalez Letty Nalda A host of exchange students added international spice to Both- ell High School and provided native students with some cultur- al knowledge and insight. Yoshihisa Shintaku and Yuji Kubo, Kristin Palsson, Oliver Stein, Veronica Gonzalez, and Letty Nalda represented Japan, Sweden, West Germany, Guatemala, and Mexico respectively. Two Bothell students travelled abroad for the exchange pro- gram also: Susie Sturholm will visit Mexico, and Kevin Hogan expects to leave in a few weeks as a Rotary Exchange. Some were sponsored by Rotary International, some by Pacific intercultural Exchangeg and some were guests of families with whom they stayed. Gary Oman directed the Exchange program. Jeff Horton and Debbie Brenchley BotheII's Marching Band performed successfully during autumn. Marching to their own music, they all kept in step. Bernie Ackerman, Dennis Behrens, and Judd Aetzel directed the performances, while Debbie Brenchley and Jeff Horton led the marchers successfully.
