BoThell's hub is The main office, where Mrs. BoTTing has been aT The wheel for Ten years. For The pasT Two, Mrs.WebsTer has been aT her side. They have many daily, demanding Tasks, which couldn'T possibly be achieved wiThouT The help of The office assisTanTs whom They musT Train. This program offers girls an excellenT opporTuniTy for pracTical experience as well as providing essenTial service To The school. One of BoThell's imporTanT spokes is The library, beneficial To boTh sTudenTs and faculTy. Mr. ChrisTopher, The librarian, has done an excellenT service To BoThell, more Than doubling The number of volumes available in The lasT six years. This year, BoThell has a new library secreTary, Mrs. Good, who helps Mr. ChrisTopher keep Track of The incoming and ouTgoing books, and wiTh him Trains and supervises The library assisTanTs. A spoke ThaT The cuTTing sTudenTs could probably do wiThouT is The aTTendance office headed by The vigilanT Mrs. Sarbaugh. She Takes care of passes, early dismissals, absenTees, and class aTTendance, as well as The skipping sTudenTs. A good share of The funds ThaT operaTe The school are dependanT upon The accuracy of her monThly reporTs. BoTh guidance and aTTendance offices are kepT running smooThly wiTh The aid of her assisTanTs. MainTenance is probably The leasT recognized buT mosT essenTial spoke. Mr. MacRae is The cusTodian who works mosT closely wiTh sTudenTs, wiTh Mr. Dunlava and Mr. English on swing and Mr. Hawkins and Mr. Turley on graveyard , covering The buildings around The clock. They keep buildings and grounds shining and clean To brighTen The sTudenTs' clays. Two maTrons, Mrs. Vera C Cookie D Ayers and Mrs. Eleanor Kennard do an appreciaTed iob in The girls' rooms and faculTy areas. Mrs. Merle Norman cares for The girls' gym areas and does The laundry for The enTire disTricT. The lasT, buT mosT imporTanT spoke for sTudenTs whose eyes are rarely bigger Than Their sTomachs, is The kiTchen, presided over by Mrs. Reese. Each day she and her assisTanTs, Mrs. Beckman'n,lMrs. Kramer, Mrs. Omli, Mrs. ShaTTo, and Mrs. Yaguchi, provide hoT lunches for The hordes of sTarving elders and youThs of BoThell High. 5 -..
