These years have gone fast and it seems hard to believe that .Linh rid of the burdens of school and ready to accept heaffer ones. If only you. diary, could tell me what the future holds! How well I remember the good times I had during this last year and, as I sit here and dream, certain events stand out--the fiery football games and wonderful dances after them, and the thrill of the Football Banquet. Then. on that exciting wintry night. came the Senior Ball. The quiet beauty of that dance overwhelms me in one remi- nscient flash- -those gorgeous decorations, the tense expec- tation of the Queen's crowning, my favorite corsage, and the bustling shuffle of dancers. Soon after Basketball began and my heart beats faster 'as I recall the thrilling games. I remember, too, the sock- lops and the ever-present fear of slivers. And the spark- ing ,lunior Prom and the lively Sophomore assembly. aseball bel I ce a,gain my school spirit bubbled ver, and now , I think sadly of watching future games in erene dignity as a grown-up. I remember, too, the Hi-Y Iruise and the splashing good times of the swimming arties. But most of all I remember this past, hectic week. The crowded moments of skip-day, senior breakfast. bac- calaureate, and now, graduation. As I leaf through your pages., Dear Diary, I relive again my good times in school and regret that they have come to an end.
