B.I.'s County Teacher Wins Agricultural Awards ' 4 I Mrs. SusieL. Osborne,a teacher of vocational agriculture at Botetourt Vocational School, was named state and region- E al winner of the Agri- id business Career Explor- ation Award during the 62nd annual conference of Virginia Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association CVVATAJ, held July 10-13 at Virginia Tech. The state plaque and r certificate were present- ed during the VVATA banquet on July 12. It was also announced that Mrs. Osborne was selected as one of six regional winners of this award in the United States. She has received an all-expense paid trip to the National Vocational Agriculture Teachers Associatlon QNVATAJ conference to be held in Anaheim California in December, where she will receive a national plaque and certificate. The NVATA Agribusiness Career Exploration Award is given forexcellence in devising and implementing an innovative career program which encourages youth to explore careers in the various areas of agriculture and agribusiness.
