9 BUILDING IMPROVE Dave Dimmich, Student Council President, invites you to enter the new room built in the back part of the old study hall. This room is now used for mathematics classes taught by Mr. Hambay. Repointing of the briok building in the school year 1960-1961 was the first step in an extensive remodeling program to improve existing facilities at Boswell. Reconstruction of the lower hall Joined east and west building wings—permitting free access to all parts of the basement level. During the summer of 1963, a new grade room was completed to accommodate in- creasing enrollment. The summer of 1964 included the painting of seven class- rooms, sanding and refinishing of the floors of the Home Economics rooms, re- finishing of all classroom floors, and repainting stairs, restrooms, and hall- way floors. Basement repairs included new restroom drainage system and repair of boiler stoker. The first step of a two-year complete rewiring system was finished with the installation of reset panels on each floor. 6
