FOR THAT GLOW OF UNDERSTANDING, FRIENDSHIP TRUTH MRS LADSON- ECHOES OF 1961 With every coming year a new dedicatee must be chosen. The right choice must be someone with thst certain some- thing. The teacher you choose must be someone with whom you can talk with, as well as talk to, and who is a good listener a3 well as a good lecturer. Years from now when we glance through the pages of our chil- dren’s yearbooks, we will ap- preciate and understand how meaningful and important were those guiding hands of the teachers who listened and un- derstood, and helped us to be- come the good citizens that we are today. They will stay in our minds forever. In the stories we tell our children from our past they will play an important part. We, the staff of 1961, feel we have chosen such a person—to Mrs. Lilly Ladson—the yearbook of 1961 I The happy year, 1947, was the year Mrs. Ladson came to our school here in Boswell. Ever since, she has devoted her time to helping others. Both teachers and students have profited from her guidance and leadership. A smile being her trademark, she has bolstered many a down-in-the-mouth spirit on a rainy day. She has proven herself to be a truly dedica- ted teacher and a friend. For this we say Thank you, Mrs. Ladson. We will always remem- ber you. IS YOURS
