The seniors of 1959 are about to leave Boswell High School. uur years have been most enjoyable in spite of all the work and worry, and now that we are about to leave, we take time out to reminisce and look inro our past—-here is a resume of what we see. Out of the 25 that enrolled in the first grade—way back in 19 7» we are happy to say that 9 of them are still here. They are as follows: Russell Abolt, Donald Burton,Shirley Clark, Robert Fry, Martin Hubbard, Carlene Mathis, Carol Matthews, Linda Rush, and Donnie Stone. To complete our class of 17 there are: John LaBounty, Jerry Hall, Larry Barrett, Vandene Daulton, Steve Mitchell, Danny Foster, David Little, and John Ford. As usual, our junior and senior years have been full of activities. We held dances, cake walks, sold pen sets and candy to make money for the prom which we chose to be Springtime in Holland. At the beginning of our senior year we elected our officers as follows: President, Larry Barrett, Vice-President, Johnny Ford,Secretary, Vandene Daul- ton, Treasurer, Shirley Clark, Reporter, Carol Matthews and our members to the student council were Carlene Mathis and Steve Mitchell. Our advisors have been Miss Miller and Mr. Burton. To raise money for our trip we, guided by our sponsors, Mr. Burton and Miss Miller, have had cake raffles, record hops, slave auction, sold Christmas cards and presented our Senior Play entitled, Let Me Out of Here. Left to Right: Shirley Clark, Treasurer, Vandene Daulton,Secretary, John Ford, Vice-President, Carol Matthews, Reporter, and Larry Barrett, President.
