The Boswell Blackhawls completed the 1958-59 basketball season with a successful 12 wins and 10 losses. This js the firstwinning year that's been recorded in 13 years. The highlight cf the year was an overtime victory over Veedersburg who was the only team to defeat Ambia during the regu- lar season. The school can be very proud of the boys. With hard work and determination, they gave Boswell a winning year. They are a great group of kids, don't you think so? The B team also had a wonderful year. Their record stood at 16 wins and 3 losses. The school can expect to see a great deal of basketball fromthese boys in the next few years. The only losses came by thehands of Kontmorenci, Otterbein and Veedersburg. They also won the B team tourney by defeating Ambia in the final game 28-20.
