Girls' Physical Education An attractive group of lassies, the girls' Physical Ed. class, under the direction of Mrs. Esther Tingley, plays ball with the hearts of true athletes. Softball, kick ball and volley ball have been their main competitive sport for the year. Most class periods begin with a warm-up of exercises which seems to bring a few sore muscles to all the girls. Folk, modern, and square dancing have helped the girls in poise and gracefulness. Two years of physical education is a requirement for graduation—some girls enroll for a longer time because they are healthy and active girls who enjoy sports.
