L ' y or r ' .- W V N ' 'H -'mx ti V, KN Senior Class History VVe might have been told as freshmen, The four years ahead will seem but a day And Sunrise is the starting point to do what you may. And now, in philosophizing, 'iThat day is over, and moonlight lights the sky. We eagerly await the morn-and why? And in that new life of ours you may meet, hut you will miss us. There will be many vacant chairs left behind the Seniors of 1929. As freshmen we bravely wore our green ties until Thanksgiving. After giving five regulars to the Varsity Football team, we contributed two to Cross Country. several to Track and Baseball, and turned out creditable Freshman teams as well. VVe elected a class president who has held office throughout the life of our class, and as our leader, has been the most outstanding student figure in the college. if not the entire university. Those who entered the social whirl as freshmen cannot forget the very pleasing and successful dance we held in conjunction with the then existing Senior class. The incoming freshmen during our sophomore year proved rather anxious so we allowed them to be relieved of green-bookn rules on the day of our field fracas with them. During that memorable year, compulsory Military Training was abolished at the university, but this did not relieve us from completing the already started least enjoyable degree requirement. So we smiled and at least felt happy for what we then considered our more fortunate successors. WVe had a very nice little Sophomore Hop, and kept up our college activity consistently. Our thoughts, conversation, interest, and praise during the third year were all directed to the great B. U. in the future. The wonderful present of Nickerson Field and the exposed plans for a great 315,000,000 construction of the new University On The Charles instinctively deepened our love for our alma mater and created within us our desire to aid in every way possible. Junior Week was once again the best ever. The Prom-our Prom-the greatest single event in any J unior's life was a complete success. It is true that we represent the largest Senior body in the history of U. B. A., but we have acquired a university consciousness and intend that this should be foremost in the days to come-Res Ipsa Locquitor. ,,L3f. 's F i ,, , Q K 41 5 1 . .. sw ..
