A UFS I f Junior Week There are just two classes of students and faculty members in this University of ours . . , the Lucky Ones, who attended the biggest and best Junior lVeek in the history of the University Cthat's Our Junior lVeekj . . . and the Unfortunates who failed to do so. For three years we have contended that we are the best class ever to enter good old B. U. and never have we better substantiated the veracity of that contention than throughout that week which will live longest in our many fond memories of the years at B. U. Future classes may have good Junior VVeek programs, but we know that they can never improve upon Ours. Fraternity men played hosts to the University at large on the opening night iVIonday, April 29, when one of the finest Open House programs ever was held. The Greeks cheerfully competed to put on the best party and they all did themselves proud. It was a great night. The Gilbert and Sullivan Association of the University, under the personal direction of Prof. Harry B. Center, provided the fun lVednesday night, Blay 1, when the student actors presented 6' lolantheu. Those who had seen the lllikadon and Patience were forced to admit that this year's production easily equalled the presentations of former years, regardless of the superiority of the former books. The players were splendid. To our class befell the honor of staging the first real All-University Field Day and We sure put it over. Our star athletes competed in baseball, track, swimming, and football events and the record crowd in attendance enjoyed the day thoroughly. The dedication of the new Field House, presented by lVilliam E. Nickerson, and the following banquet furnished a fitting climax for the day of fun and frolic. W'e will always think of OUR PROINI with lumps in our respective throats. For more than five hours we lived in a transport of joy and almost frenzied pleasure glid- ing over the polished surface of the Copley Plaza Ballroom. That marvelous orchestra, the perfect ballroom, beautiful women, hosts of intimate friends, classmates, college chums, beloved professors, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters . . . all these went to make the closing feature of the week the memory that we will cherish longest in our hearts.
