It was late in the season before the team was completely organized: too late to arrange any college matches, so the leading high schools in the vicinity of Boston were singled out and marked for defeat by the new team. hIedford and Somerville High schools almost dodged the mark but Freshies came through in true 'cmoviel' style and won for their alma mater. Thayer academy, Boston College High, and Huntington schools were also on the list of victims which fell before the B. U. rackets. The Freshman Tennis team serves the purpose of providing experienced net artists for the varsity team. It is presenting a number of players to the varsity this year and their places are being filled by some very able Freshmen who will endeavor to maintain the fine record made by the ,QS team.
