Earp and Tarr were up in front, hut the Tufts runners were too fast, and B. Il. lost by a 19-+1-0 sc-ore. The NI. .L C'. meet. at Amherst was the last of the sc-hedule on November 10, and the agrarians won 2.3 to 34-, only after a hard lmattle. Hard lurk 1-amped on the trail ot' the foilsmen during the early part. of the season but nevertheless the team managed to defeat several of its most formidable opponents, Norwieh and Tec-h. Both the Norwich and Tech vietories were by 5--L scores. Sigmund A. Lavine played the hero in the Norwich mateh. winning all three of his boxes. However, he fell down in the two following meets, Harvard and Tech. The Crimson avenged its defeat ot' the year before by upsetting B. U. 6 to 3. Vaptain Suck Came to the rescue in the Tec-h matt-h and by defeating Harris, engineer star, 5-Q, in the final bout gave B.
