Hamilton, Vulpills. n Founded at the University of hlissouri in 1913 as an honorary fraternity for advertising men, Alpha Delta Sigma is reeognized by the Associated Advertising Clubs of the world as the strongest student organization in the sphere of advertising. At present there are chapters loc-ated at twenty-two of the leading eolleges and universities of the United States. Alpha Delta Sigma aims primarily to promote truth through advertising, to further the individual welfare of its members and to aid in the development of advertising in all its phases by forming a connecting link between the institution and the professional world. Sponsoring the appearanee of well known advertising experts before the ' students, providing for illustrated lec-tures and demonstrations, and maintaining c-lose allianee with sources of employment in the tield of aulvertising, are some of the major activities of the organization. 199 ,, .pg
