It now has three active chapters at Hunter's Vollege. New York llniversity and Boston University. and is at the present time planning a wide extension program. The Boston University Vhapter was established as a loc-al sorority in 1926, as Delta Phi and was installed as Gamma fhapter of Lambda Gamma Phi early in 1929, petition for rec-ognition now before Far-ulty. The sorority aims to foster the spirit of sisterhood among its members, to maintain a high st-holastic standing and to encourage College activities. llembership is limited to degree students. 166
