This year an enthusiastic and capable Executive Board has worked diligently to advance the general objectives of the sorority and especially to augment its membership. Over twenty new members have been admitted into its fold. L lNIary K. Hickey, Past President and Chairman of the Program Committee, 7 ' has inaugurated a series of interesting affairs. All functions have been well attended - with an average of over fifty to a meeting. Probably one of its finest parties was the Christmas Party held at the Boston University Co-operative House on Bay State Road. Of course, not all the girls could throw the snowballs straight, and they found it hard work to blow out the candle! It will be a long time before we forget that party! A memorable occasion in the history of Epsilon Sigma was the Tea given 1 February 9 at the Hotel Vendome when we had as our guests Mrs. Myron H. Clark, President of the 'Women's Graduate Club of Boston U niversity, and Mrs. Everett O. Fiske, President of the Women's Council, also Trustee of the University. Both Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Fiske brought to the girls a new conception of the place of the woman graduate in the life of the University and the opportunity given her to support and advance her Alma lNIater. Epsilon Sigma counts as one of its greatest joys the kindly spirit and friendly counsel of its Honorary lVIember, Mrs. Alice Barnet 0'Neil, wife of Professor Leo Drew O'Neil, Director of the Evening Division. Sister 0,Neil has been faithful in her attendance and devoted to the furtherance of the high ideals of Epsilon Sigma. At the culmination of a highly successful year Epsilon Sigma reminds its A members that it stands for the principles of Co-operation and Achievement, and hopes that the coming years may see a fulfillment of all its finest aspirations.
