Class of 1931 EVENING DIVISION Another year is drawing to a close, a year of progress in class organization, of social success, of leadership, and of genuine profit from our studies. We find our- selves a smaller group than that which began its labors in 1925, but a closer rela- tionship, truer friendships and a genuine sense of college spirit compensate for our loss in numbers. ' In the past four years, the Class of 1931, has demonstrated a cooperative, pioneering spirit, second to that of no other Evening Division organization. Every major organization that is inter-class in its scope, has chosen active members of the Class of 1931 to lead them. Buds, The Bowling League, The Evening Division Basket Ball Team and The B. U. Summer Club have been under the direction of members of the Livewire Class. 3' As the result of the splendid co-operation of the members of our class, the an- nual Valentine Dance, held at the Hotel Vendome on February 15, was a brilliant success. SOME LIVEWIRES E. Harold Frankel -'iEpl1,', our energetic, heads-up President is the boy who makes the wheels go round. Our success in class organization and social activities may be attributed to Eph, above all others. Harry C. VVard, our rising young auditor, is President of the Bowling League, Student Council representative, and a prominent member of Buds. Harry's hard work has been, and is, one of the prime reasons for the leadership of '31 in the Evening Division. Gertrude Youdelovitz, our efficient secretary, often gives us reason to question just how she tunes out the static and gets the concert', at class meetings. VVilliam Borzakian is an exponent of lVIr. VVork. He knows his bridge', so thoroughly that heill be buried with simple honors! William Suessbrick, our smiling treasurer, uses his financial experience to good advantage as our collection records show. Raoul Jiminez, our Spanish cavalier, is right there when it comes to publicity work. His clever signs have been the subject of much favorable comment. Charles M. Wilc-ox--6' lVIilt is the rugged gentleman who directed the fortunes of the class as Chairman of the Social Committee. As President of Buds, which is a position of considerable importance, 'S lNIilt has been very successful, in spite of the fact that he is a man of very few words. Dorothy Shooshan- Dodo,' is the pretty girl who caused hundreds of mascu- line hearts to flutter when her picture adorned the front page of the News. Art,' Caillouette is the star athlete and leader of the 0wlsf' Arty is the first owl that we have seen that sports a moustache. Really, folks, he calls it one. Thomas J. Bowdren is another of our bearded gentry whose hirsute growth caused great consternation in female ranks. ' . ww-fry:-v. ,fsF5'i'i ffs6E'Wf: ' ,V fps. ' ,'- 3 ,,, 1 1, V' 1.13, f' ,' . 38:50.
