As publisher of the News he has ample opportunity of coming into contact with the students in their everyday life, and he can always be depended on to appreciate the undergraduate point of view. lle is an earnest booster for B. U., and as a member of the Athletic Council he bus done mach for the promotion of sports. At this latter place he is in charge of the courses which Boston University is giving in conjunction with the Uni- versity of Mexico. During the World War, he performed active relief work in Belgium.
