There is volley- ball in the fall, basketball during the winter, and tennis in the spring. Instead of having one varsity team to play outside colleges, we have a team from each class here at P. A. L., thus bringing many more girls into the game, and at the same time preserving a friendly spirit of competition. The all-year sports include fencing, swimming, and hiking. The fenc- ing class, which opened last year under the instruction of Captain Woolfson of the C. B. A. fencing team, is continuing this year with over sixty mem- bers. Mr. Woolfson has been assisted by several members of his team. [ 180 ]
