DRIVER EDUCATION With an ever-increasing number of automobiles, trucks, and busses on our highways, it is obvious that the DRIVER EDUCATION Class is of the utmost importance to young people. Under the highly skilled direction of Mr. Gable, numerous members of the student body learn about the technical nature of the automobile. Moreover, the essen- tials of good driving such as courtesy, and the importance of proper attitudes are stressed. This background informa- tion, though highly theoretical, proves invaluable for stu- “HO, HO, HO. weeyou flunktls dents who are desirous of obtaining a driver’s license. Above all else, each member learns that safety pays, and that a trained driver is a good driver. First Row: Papapietro, Sheridan, Ketchen, Smith, Son, Lee, Chin, Fredricksen. Second Row: Mr. Gable, Baker, Borek, Alman, Jacobs, Kelly, Lebrun, Currie, Walsh, Bell. Third Row: Vivolo, Lundel, Mastarelli, Colton, Walden, Walsh, Alston.

Another job which the members ofthe DRILL TEAM do and do well is acting as ushers at the Home and School Association meetings.
