CORRIDOR PATROL Security of Personal property, and silence in the corridors are basic to the efficiency of a large educational complex. The Corridor Patrol fulfills the need for a force of dedicated young men to handle the management of our vast corridors. Under the leadership of Mr. Cronin, these students guard the various floors of our school against the intrusion of un- authorized travelers and are instrumental in the passage of students from one lunch to another. In such a large physi- cal plant as ours, some sort of trafficmanagers and security guards are essential, and our fine Corridor Patrol fills the bill admirably. ‘““We got the chem test; now how about the math ?”’ First Row: Cameron, Johnson, Kakalas, Sandofsky, Fisher, DeDominici, Barron, Burns. Second Row: Guterman, Lebrun, Currie, Ennis, Anthony, Alder, Berkowitz, Kelly, Swartz.

CHESS CLUB The CHESS CLUB, under the direction of Mr. Diggins, carries the honor and prestige of the school into the field of the “Game of Kings.” Having many proficient members, the club has become one of the best in the city. They have defeated a number of other high school chess clubs, a factor attesting to their growing skill. It isone of the most respect- ed activities in the school and requires much concentration in addition to a keen mind. Next year the team hopes to realize the potential of several juniors and sophomores and, as a result, continue to maintain its high standing in school- boy competition in the Greater Boston Area. “One or two shots of Irish Mist ?”’ First Row: Desimone, Garfinkel, Ragnelli, McCarthy, Antonino, Magnifico, Colbert, Hall. Second Row: Mr. Diggins, Donovan, Pollit, Sibulkin, Cunningham, Neviakis, White, Springer, Barker, Horgan, Liebl. DRAFTING STANDARDS Approximately fifteen years ago the DRAFTING STANDARDS CLUB was organized in order to familiarize students with drafting techniques that exceed the scope of the high school course of study. Also, the club gathers together the numerous skills of drafting which become valuableto the drafting courses. Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Carpenito many of our alumni go on to become draftsmen, technicians, and engineers. Students learn the complex na- ture of form, proportion, and structural relationships while seriously exploring new ways in which drafting may be re- lated to the business world. Obviously this activity is one of the most outstanding in the school. “Who said Israel was up here ?”’
