Under the direction of Mr. Mulloy and Mr. Burns the eager shutter bugs aid inthetaking of pictures for the Artisan and Yearbook through which they proved that ‘“‘one picture is worth a thousand words.” At the end of each year a vast number of commendable pictures are added to the evergrowing file of the CAMERA CLUB. ““The Catacombs”

This select group of highly skilled artisans is one of the most popular and active organizations in this school. Led by our highly ' talented art instructor, Mr. Ralph Rosenthal, this group of young men is living and breathing proof that appreciation of art and artifacts is not dead in the minds of this genera- tion. These young men learn the basic techniques of ceram- ics, mosaics, the molding of clay, and the making of glaze, not by reading from a text, but by actual doing. The im- portance of an organization dedicated to the sculptural arts is necessary to a well-rounded education and cannot be taken lightly. ce . and memorize the Gettysburg Address”
