The ART CLUB, under the brilliant guidance of Mr. Ralph Rosenthal, produces illustrations and truly witty cartoons for “The Artisan,” scenes of high artistic merit for assemblies, posters for many purposes, and numerous masterpieces entered in various art contests throughout the city and the nation. Made up of stu- dents who demonstrate a flair with water colors, oils, free-hand drawing, sketching, and the like, the ART CLUB is often the springboard which enables some students to continue their creative work in art schools after graduation. One of its most important functions is the excellent work accomplished for the Yearbook. Humorous sketches capture the flavor of the lighter mood at Technical High. MR.
