GE Day (Soni ties Second Row: Love, Carew, Walker, Cohen, Gilbert, Robash, Rice. Front Row: Mr. Murray, Gray, Bramante, Ferguson, Hilchey, Carty, Williams. For many years the Class Day, under the direction of Mr. Murray, has been a memorable occasion. It provides a day for the Senior Class to meet as a group under friendly and informal circumstances. The morn- ing assembly in the Hall, for Seniors only, gives an outlet for mild joshing and jokes about faculty and students. The Class Will with its time honored jibes about faculty peculiarities, and the Class Prophecy with its horrible forebodings about the future of the Senior Class always provide a great deal of laughter and hilarity. Usually the afternoon is spent on a‘class outing in some quiet spot where seniors can relax after a good dinner and enjoy the company and friendship of fellow students. It is the last social affai r of the Senior Class before Graduation. Our class officers exemplify good citizenship at its best

The Corridor Patrol is made up of a group of vol- unteers who perform an essential task in the smooth functioning of our school. These boys give up their free time during their lunch period to make sure that no unauthorized personnel, either strangers or stu- dents, are allowed to wander about our building. They see that there is no confusion or congestion during filing to and from the cafeteria. Visitors are greeted politely and escorted to the main office. The Corridor Patrol performs a real service in the efficient admin- istration of our new school with its lengthy, endless corridors and its five floors of classrooms, shops, and laboratories. Mr. Brokvist has efficiently organized this group so that no place of importance is left un- guarded. Under his direction there has developed a very fine spirit of cooperation between students and the officers of the patrol. ee i +i : } ) i Covel ty: otal Third Row: Kelly, Georgaqui, Santry, Condil, Wein- berg, Hall, Sanborn.
