wie Most Sy Prost Wishes yy oavee To the class of 1957; I am deeply appreciative of the honor bestowed upon me by your dedication of this year-book. I realize, of course, that your ad- visor is one of the few teachers privileged to have a wide acquaintance among the entire class and that he is, in a sense, a symbol of your entire Senior faculty. In this capacity, I am pleased to accept your dedication. The rewards of the teaching profession, although apparently in- visible to most, are yet clear and definitely understood among us who have devoted our lives to it. In the eyes of any teacher, the reception of such a dedication as this would rank highly among those rewards. Still, to all your teachers, the greatest reward is the realization that your growth from boys of fourteen into young men of eighteen has been due partly to our training during your brief years at Technical High School. If the wealth of any nation is its youth, as has often been said, then the training of that youth must be a task vital to the well-being of the nation. It is my earnest hope that many of you will realize this need and will prepare to replace us in teaching and in other youth service work for the next generation. To each of you, I extend the most sincere best wishes in your chosen career. james W Dailey
