I, Ifoymyne' APRIL ASSETS I-:ING a 4-Fer in the lf. S. Army is no honor, but a 4-F'er at B. C. High is a most distinctive one. The fact is largely due to the direction of our capable teachers-Fr. Power, SJ., our instructor in Latin, Greek, Religion, and English: Fr. Krim, S.J., our Ger- man professor, Le Mon Pere Sheridan, our French teacher, Fr. Shea, SJ., who lifted the Blathematical confusion from our minds, and last, lNIr. Collins, SJ. whose Chem periods were always so interesting. On the sports field we have Joe Cotter and Sonny Burns in baseball, and Bill Carr and Sonny Burns again in B. C. High's eleven. Bob Lynch is our only but fast moving hoopster. The track season saw Art Fandel and Frank Keohane doing their speedy best on the cinder-track. Our top debator and President of the Society is Jack Rlahoney, whose oratory makes us realize how Cicero must have sounded. The Renaissance workers in 41 were Ed Doherty and Frank Van Cmmersen who is also our Sodality Prefect. Paul Doucette represented us in the French Club. The social lions of the class who scintillated at each social event were Ed Doherty. Leo Blorrissey, Bill Carr, Frank lNIcKeever, Al Anzuoni, and Jack Ronayne. Don Moran was the co-editor on the Botolphian, and, needless to say, did an excellent job. l'sually striving for, and receiving honors were Paul Doucette, Don Kloran, and Jack llahoney. Real scholastic leaders! The personality boys whose quips enlivened every situation, were Dick Callanan, Ray Fallon, Frank Tondorf, Richie Simonelli, and Gene Sullivan. In the future, the four years at B. C. High will stand out as the best and most profitable years of our lives.
