4'Q Hunter fights for a rebound the Team 's Encounters B.C. HIGH 53 ENGLISH 86 Hampered by the fouling out of Hunter, and the numerous other personals called, B.C. High proved no contest for a strong English team. The only bright spot in the game for BF. High was Co-Captain Hennessy who scored 14 and played a remarkable floor game. B.C. HIGH 81 TRADE 68 B.C'. High finally found their scoring eyes, and rolled up their highest total of the year. Co-Capts. Hennessy and Hunter combined for 42 points between them. Furey's and Tyrrell's floor play deserve credit. B.t'. IIIGH 61 TECH 55 13.6. High second straight victory was run up at the expense of Tech. Hunter again emerged as high scorer with 26. Sullivan played his usual fine defensive game, stealing the ball several times. But XIcGoldriek and Maher stole the show with exceptional rebounding and hall-handling. l3.I'. HIGH 50 INIEMORIAL 58 l'aul MeGoldriek's outside shooting and ball-hand- ling kept Bf. High in the game until the closing mo- ments. It was nip and tuck all the way, but the Blaroon and Gold could not quite keep up with the dead-eyes from Roxbury. B.C. HIGH 54 TRADE 49 For the second time, B.f'. High rolled over Trade. 1Iaher's and lIcDonnell's passing, combined with Hun- ter's and Tyrrell's scoring were just too much for the Blue and Gold. Hunter hit his season's high, 30 points. Nine stalwart seniors B.C'. HIGH 41 DORCHESTER 43 Heavily favored Dorchester received quite a scare when they tangled with the Eagles for the second time. Lynch and Hunter combined to bottle up Smith and Benham, Dorchester's leading scorers. As the score in- dicates. it was a thriller all the way. Paul Hunter was again high scorer with 20. B.C. HIGH 29 LATIN 41 The Eagles lost this one because of their inability to hit from the foul line. In the last period, 11 straight were missed by the llaroon and Gold. B.C. High showed tre- mendous ability in holding 6'7 .lim Franis to 8 points. Outstanding player on the floor was Robbie Tyrrell. He scored 8 of B.C. High's first 15 points. DRIBBLINGS Paul Hunter blossomed into one of the league's top scorers. His 30 pt. outburst against Trade was the first B.C'.H. has seen in a long timt -... George Hennessy and his magnihcent dribbling and set shooting left an impression on all of B.C'.H. foes . . . Who can forge! Sullivan's 4th quarter outburst of 11 points in the Dorchester game . . . or hIaher's display of passing against 1Iemorial . . . or Supple's 40' set against Trade . . . Hou' about BIcDonnell's shooting in the English game 1... BIcGoldriek's 15 points in the llernorial game . . . Tyrrell continually out-rebounding Francis . . . Lynch always taking up the scoring lag . . . Three l'l1eer.v for the spirit and attitude of the team. which was always at its peak. when the team was at its lowest. 111
