Feb. 17: The huge collection for the Holy Father, to provide a much needed radio station. Feb. 22: Dance sponsored by the foot- ball team at Boston College was largely attended. Feb. 22-26: Vacation for some: the trig shift for others. March: The track team brings us added honor by copping the G. B. I. title . . . the Dra- matic Players put their new offering into production . . . chance books reign su- preme! . . . oratorical contests were con- ducted . . . the Year-Book went to press on March 15 . . . Mar. 4-12: Novena to St. Francis Xavier was conducted in the classrooms. Mar. 5: B. C. H. carries off G. B. I. tro- phies. Mar. 7: Father A r t h u r McCarthy launched another r e c o r d - breaking drive for the build- ing fund. April-May: With Spring, the young B. C. H. man lightly turned to thoughts of graduation . . . preparation for finals was almost over-looked in the frenzy of rings, prom- tickets, tuxedos, corsages . . . on three different occasions the members gath- ered for social fetes in April . . . the high- light of these was the Passion Play pre- sented by the capable Dramatic Society . . . in a much lighter vein, we roared with merriment at the antics of '49-ers in the annual Minstrel Show . . . our Par- ents visited with us on still another occasion, their last Night at B. C. H. . . . from that point we looked forward with baited breath to the night of nights, which was scheduled for the Opera House the second week in June. With His Excellency, the Archbishop, presid- ing, only then will we have written the final chapter in our chronicle at Boston College High. FRANCIS W. VYE Upper: Fr.
