THE FORBIAN v Ray F. Hanlon P 33 Hood Street i ' Lynn . Sodality fl, 2, 3, 45 K, B. S. 13, 45 i'Streteh El' As yet we haven't seen the picture that goes with this brief -outline but we feel sure that we are not going to like it. For it will never d-o justice to Ray's tremendous altitude. VVe are proud of Ray even though he does naturally look down upon us all. They say walking lengthen ones-but we are sure Ray doesn't walk home as he lives far off ill the wilds of Lynn. But then he did an Ugo every Spanish class. At any rate it seems as though Ray grew over night and left us all behind. And that isn't right, for we don't want Ray to .leave us, we have learned to like him too wellg and being by nature sellish we Want to keep him among us. However, the world is cruel, and we suppose we shall have to partg but it will be with silent misgivings that we will take the path that leads away from good old Ray andhis friendly way.

Armed with fl pleasing personality, a promise of good fellowship, an assured air, he seems to be a. born salesman. He has proven over and again that anything under his capable lllilllilgfilllellt is bound to be a success. Not merely that, he is 21 tireless, zealous worker as his re- sults in tl1e Jesuit Fund Drive will bear testimony. A good student and a good fellow, he is very popula.r among teachers and students. Mal is quiet and retiring enough at all times and yet he can be asser- tive enough if the occasion demands. VVell, Mal, you have been a good pal and a. true friend and whatever course of life you prescribe to follow we hope that success and good fortune will attend your way.

Hartnett! Gaze upon him-for he is a marvel! John, really, actually, beyond the shadow of a. doubt, had 99? for his average in trig.! Colossal, unbelievable Iigures you say! But 'tis true. When- ever there was 21 left-handed function or a cosine to be squared or whatever it is you do fthe writer is far from a trig inarvelb , John was always eagerly sought out. He was the class oasis.
