C3, 43 Promoter, League of Sacred Heart McElroy Q21 Jack, Paddy - Quiet, modest and unassuming is John F. from Everett., a gen- tleman and a scholar. He ranks a close second to the Judge as a sup- porter of B. C. and upholder of Chuck Darling, 'but he is alone in his glory at glistening in to friend ffstatici' His Voice was seldom heard in class fa rose in a corner of thornsj but quiet as he was he always held a ready, smiling greeting and made friends with everyone. John Ffsl' modesty, We are sure, will bring those stable results atten- dant to the quiet and earnest worker. Perhaps no blaze of rlietorical trumpets will herald l1is entrance into post-high school affairs, but he no -doubt will' attain whatever goal he seeks. Good-bye John and good luck.

S. 43, 43 Baseball L45 McElroy C25 Pug, Porky, filohnnief' 1 - L John has been with us for four years, off and on, like the famous Mr., Finnegan 5 and he has convinced us that you can do two things at -once, that is, have a date with a dentist U5 andstill show up in time for school. On all our outings Pugv has been along to brighten the occasion and to demonstrate his athletic prowess. Why he never went out for any of the high scho-ol teams l1as always been a mystery to-us. Perhaps Somerville held out too many charms. A bundle of pep, con- densed into a small package, which might explode without a moment's notice Would be 3 definition which would lit Pug perfectly. Get in there and fight, J ohng the World lies open before you. Wherever you go the best wishes of your classmates goes with you.

C. High, a11d yet all this fails to fittingly describe VVillia1n Frawncis. He is versatility itself a11d what is paramount, a. line fel- low. Lessons and sports come alike to Bill, for he did everything and did aforesaid everything well. He never coveted honor and dis- tinction yet he received them both. Bill is the ideal student--the ideal athlete-the ideal boy, loved and esteemed by all. Even if he were not the great leader that he is in studies and sports, his untiring industry, combined with rare geniality and consideration for others would have won the respect and friendship of all, but now he is doubly enshrined in our lives and it will take more than the passing years to efface the friendship and love in our hearts for our suiiling Bill
