WVithout exaggeration, tl1e class of '25 B points to Fitz as one of tl1e greatest, if not the greatest speaker in tl1e history of B. C. High. WV inning the elocution contest for soph- omores and f1'6Si11ll011 while in his second year was but a forecast of what one was to expect the next year. For he won both the Bapst Prize Debate and tl1e Senior Elocution Prize of 3525.00 in gold, the first time we believe that a third year 111311 ever had this double honor con- ferred upon him. Aside from this, Fitz starred in two High School productions. Armed with good nature, learning, oratory and perfect poise, t11e class can, and does, hold him up before the world and pro- claini hini to be a true Catholic Gentleman, a born leader of men.

Don Mike can almost make a cue-stick talk, they tell us. Be that as it may, we know that, in the class room at least, he has always played the game strictly on the level, calling his shots as they came. Friend Don Mike knows more about Don Quixote than Mr. Cervantes himself. Though 01'Lll1l3l'lly quiet, his voice was constantly heard booming during the Spanish Class, Mike's favorite session. He came in every day from Neponset, that wonderful town, meeting the Post Master on the way. Quiet, smiling, ever-ready, that's Mike, o11e of the most popular mem- bers of the original class.

It's tough to think of saying good-bye to him in June for in our four years of class association he has become endeared and grown close to all of usg and though We yield him to the outside world soon We have no fear of his making good.
