THE FORBIAN Joseph A. Cahill 366 Andover Street Lowell Sodality fl. 2, 3, 45 K. B. S. i3, 45 . Sergeant-at-Arms Q35 McElroy L25 cuJ0e,97 ccL0W811,9a 4cRVubeap I A pair- of smiling eyes hidden behind tortoise-shell glasses-en question on his lips-that's friend Cahill. Joe makes doubting Thomas look like a gullible child, he has no accepted truths--except perhaps that Lowell is the greatest city in all the Worlds of fact or fancy. When Joe arrives at school teachers are seen to spring wildly to cover and every now and then peek furtively out of their hiding places to see if tl1e coast is clear. For with his ever-ready questions he is a nightniare to struggling profs. WVhich only goes to prove that Joe is a good student, evincing interest in his work. Wlien the parallel lines of a three-cornered round square are being proven most of us are content to sit back and dream of fields and sport, but Joe is there hanging on to the teachers' every word. Though coming down from Lowell daily for four years, even yet the ,bustle and noise of our h-ig city bexvilders him. He is our muddled student, he is everyonets friend and his duty seems to be that he go through life smiling and spreading cheer and good will along his path.

S..q3, 43 'Class President fl, 2, 3, 43 Vice-President 4th year U Varsity Football 11, 2, 3, 43 Class Basketball 11, 2, 33 'fTomats,', Deacon e .. Hail-our Class President! Good old Steve has held this honor, or at least office, consistentlys the past four years. He is undoubt- edly the most popular man among us and yet it is difficult to say just why. He has a simple, charming, pleasing personality, that has endeared him to us all. At first we liked Cav because he was an athlete and that meant much to our childish freshman minds, in our sophomore and junior days Cav was always our leader for he was a real boy, exemplified to a high degree, and now in our staid and serious senior days we have come to respect, admire and revere Cav-the man! Hie played center on the football team during his four-year sojourn with us 3 and now in his final year he is chosen for the senior elocution contest. We are sure the hall will echo a.nd re-echo to the tones of his forceful voice. For Cav possesses the fluency, ease and diction of a born orator. We intend to be present when he is crowned-Mayor of Norwood. I

THE FORBIAN Francis J. Careyd ll Locust Street - Dorchester Sodality il., 2, 3, 45. K. B. S. Class Treasurer C15 - F Hockey C3, 45 Football 145 Our sweet Duke, 4'Herpy, Baldy and H3l1flStllTlG,, Someone said that Frank Carey was a fellow that went out for everything in the High School, even his lunch. That about sums up Frank. He seems to be incensed with school spiritgdhe is continually striving for the old gold and niaroong and it is ever the betterment of the school and not the personal glory attached that spurs him on. Frank is a boy who is popular with boys there we might add that he is blessed with an unending line of Ucousinsvy and we know he will never be lacking true friends and friendship. He is one of the school's foreniost athletes, a real starg and an honor man besidesg and when a fellow can engage in both studies and sport and do both well, what more can we say? Well good-bye, Handsome,v you old sleepy-head, we're sure you are going to be just as popular at Holy Cross as you were in all your days at B. C. High.
