arlcfl. 1961 YARD PERIOD After a seven month deployment with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean BOSTON returned to Charlestown Mas- sachusetts on 27 February 1960 to begun a long yard-overhaul period. For the next five months BOSTON had extensive work done on everything from the missile system to the boilers either In the line of repairs and rennovatlon or replacement.
