Every student of Borger Junior High School is a member and eligible to participate in the functioning of the association. One of the main purposes of this organization is to promote the welfare of the school through the proper student- faculty-administration relationship. according to the consti- tution of the association. The officers preside over all student association meetings as well as all student council meetings. The officers of the student association and student council, who were elected by the students to serve during the 1949-1950 school year. are as follows: BOBBY COVINGTON President MYBNA WEST Vice-President VIRGINIA EDMONDS Secretary WANDA HORTON Treasurer EDWIN OLIVER Parliamentarian J. This student council serves as the legislative branch of our student association. They are elected and perform their duties according to the rules set forth in the Borger Junior School Student Association Constitution.
