From a small unattractive crevice opening into a cave to a splendid highly edified archway opening into a cathedral, the door has held a place of neces- sity and prominence, as well as of beauty in man's history. lt would be useless to build a room and not leave a doorway. The value of the common door to mankind could fill a book: but the door, important as it may be, is utterly useless without people to enter and exit through it. through them. Even though now some of these peo- ple are thousands of miles away they have left a part of themselves here within the walls of Borger High. Not one of them entered these doors and left without adding to their knowledge. Their moments spent here have been invaluable to them. Consid- ering these things we proudly dedicate the 1963 Borgan to all the people who shave entered, who are entering, and who will enter the doors of Borger High.
