1? FUTURE TEACHERS GF AMERICA The membership of F. T.A. is made up of students from all three classes in high school and consists of those people who are interested in teaching as a profession. This organization pro vides its members with experiences to develop the qualities and aptitudes basic to successful teaching and imparts an understanding of the development and purposes of our free public schools. Future Teachers of America assists the members in gaining an appreciation of the contributions that the public schools have made to our democratic society. F. T. A. provides information and the special competencies required. It supplies participation in pre-vocational activities which are both exploratory and developmental in nature. F. T.
