TUDE T CCDLINCIL The primary purpose of the Student Council is to give active experience in the techniques of democratic processes. Representatives are chosen by the homerooms to report on the activities of the council and stimulate interest in planning projects. The council provides a forum for the expression of student opinion, a training ground for both leaders and followers, and opportunity for intelligent participation in school affairs, and a real-life situation whereby students learn to be good citizens. The Student Council also promotes an atmosphere of understanding and appreciation between students and faculty. The Student Council has many worthwhile projects. Here Carolyn Helton and Royce Barron pack the books which have been collected for the Golden Acres H H Boy's Ranch.
