Each advisory elects a representative to serve as its Steering Committee member. This person goes to all class meetings and conveys the ideas of the advisory at these meetings. The repre- sentative holds voting power for his advisory. The members of the Steering Committee make reports to their advisory of all things which are voted on in the class meetings. QFFICERS OF THE TLIDE Student Council officers are elected by the student body. Candidates must meet high standards of character, citizenship, and scholarship. They must maintain a B average or above during their term of office. Officers should be concerned with the general welfare of the entire school. They act as a liaison group between students and faculty, encourage high standards of conduct in the student body, keep records of all money collected T CGLINCIL and spent by the Council, uphold school rules, give all students a voice in the activities of the group, and sponsor projects of constructive value.
