Initially, each player must de- posit twelve thousand eight hundred dollars with the business oflice and collect his playing piece. You may notice that all the playing pieces appear to look the sameg however, each will prove to play an integral part in the game. The object of THE FAMOUS GAME is to make each player studious, truthful, pure, and temperate in all things. The winner of THE FAMOUS GAME is the one man who is able to bounce back from adversity and finish two miles ahead of the field, undaunted. To begin: Ask the commandant for permission to use the dice. After you have done so, roll the dice to determine which player shall make the first move. There are few rules for THE FAMOUS GAME which can not be answered by simply refering to the jokebook of Borden- town Military Institute. There are, in fact, only two and they appear below. RULES: 1. THIS CAME IS NOT TO BE PLAYED DURING CHAPEL OR EVENTIDE. 2. When a player lands on any space labeled FAT CHANCE, COMMUNITY CHEST, or RE- PORT SLIPS fan axel, he is to refer to that special pile of cards on the gameboard and draw one, the top, card. Samples of the cards appear below. Otherwise, the players are simply to move ahead along the board at a conservative pace, following the allotted directions as they are encountered.
