'f liwgvf, . . ,A UI' On Monday, September 21st, 1954, the first attempt at organizing B Company was made, At first the tompany looked pretty poor but, after a few weeks of drill, it betame quite evident that this unit was made up ot' men that Could and would put out toward making the company one of the best. After making several changes in the commanding posi- tions of the company, its final makeup had Cadet Captain Robert DeLaurentis as Company Commander with Cadet First Lieutenant W'illiam Dent as the lst Platoon Leader and Cadet First Lieutenant Wfilliani Parker as the 2nd Platoon Leader. Through the combined efforts of these oflicers, as- sisted by Sergeants Noll, Markel, Leone and Rudolph, B Company was developed into a very sharp looking outfit, Although the Company failed to win the Best Company banner at the Washington's Birthday exercises, it has proved time and time again that it is the main contender for the honor and, that when unit competition comes up again on Alumni Day, there will possibly be a change in the honor of being the best Company. The officers of B Company want to thank the members of the Company for helping to make B Company what it is and to wish them the best of luek in the years to tome,
