CLASS OF 1956 This year, the Sophomore Class has certainly shown that it contains cadets who are aiming for positions of high standing in the cadet corps and even beyond that. Leading in scholastics are Wernitznig, Slatoff and Mcllwain. These cadets are usually found near the top of the Dean's List and hardly c-ver miss the uppies list. Although these cadets are the leaders, there is an ever present form of competition because several other members of the Sophomore Class are close behind. Looking at the class from a military viewpoint, we nnd Mcllwain, Slatoff and Pingatore leading the ranks. The class as a whole has done a fine job along military lines and many are potential non-roms and officers. Mcllwain, Pingatore, Slatoff, Scholes, Goldberg and Sottos are the leaders on the athletic end of it. Mcllwain and Sottos have seen action on both the varsity football and varsity basketball squads while Slatoff played varsity football. Many others have participated in one sport or another and with these cadets as potential varsity 'players, the outlook for having good teams in the future is very good. To the Sophomore Class, the Class of '54 extends its congratulations and wishes it the best of lutk in the years to come. U7

CLASS CF 1955 This year's junior Class is one of the very best, having several leaders in scholastics, military and sports. Many of the cadets have been active in the school activities since they were Freshmen and now, what they have learned in the past few years is beginning to pay off. Scholastically, Cadets Applebaum, Giordano and Markel are leading. Although this is Applebaum's first year, he is already showing that he is capable of doing very good work, On the other hand, Giordano and Markel have been the leaders right along. Several others are finding their studies a little rougher than these Cadets but they are climbing nearer to the top as time progresses. From a military standpoint, Markel, Skidmore, Giordano, Mann, Spivack and Rickett are the higher ranking non-roms. Others have moved into positions where, if they keep up the good work, they will have a chance to become officers next year. In the line of sports, we find that Shevillo, Skid- more, Bennett, Giordano, Amerman and Rickett are the leading members. In football, we nnd Amerman, Shevillo, Skidmore and Rickett on the varsity squad while several others played on the junior varsity squad. Shcvillo and Skidmore also were members of the basketball squads, along with Schenck and Rickett. In track, Gordon, Giove, Spivack and Staley are the future prospects while Giordano and Huhn are the main hopes of next year's wrestling team. To a fine looking prospective Senior Class, the Class of '54 leave their good wishes for a terrihc Senior year.

CLASS CF 1957 This year, the Freshman Class has already begun to show that it has very good possibilities for the future. A few cadets in the Freshman Class have moved up from the junior School and it is quite natural to see these cadets stand out above the others. In the scholastic end of the class, we hnd that Benz, Nagy and Hardin are doing very well. Even though these cadets stand out, there are many others who have been working hard and are beginning to move up in their class standing. Cadets Benz, Candelori, Hardin and Nagy appear to be the leaders in the military department. Having been in the junior School last year, these cadets are putting to good use the instruction which they re- ceived in D Company. Usually, most of the mem- bers of the Freshman Class are new cadets and, therefore, End it somewhat difficult to accustom themselves to the military life but this year's group has done a very good job in overcoming this problem. Naturally, it isn't expected to see Freshmen on varsity sports squads but several have participated on either junior varsity or junior teams. Among the leaders are Barrett, Benz, Canderlori, Nagy, and Peppler, along with many others. In all, the Freshman Class looks to be off to a verv good start in the various school activities, as well as in scholastics. The Senior Class of '54 wishes the Class of '57 the best of luck in the years to come. Tap Rau: Henderson, Osborne, Swinehart. Bray, Morgen. Colscott, Smith, Hardin, Sykes. Second Rout Barrett. Hause, Benz, Peppler, Sucre, White. Sawyer, Nagy, Dessel. From Row: Jacobson, Crane, DiMeo, Chester, Semon, Brick, C. Brick, E. Brick, Ward.
