In regular season matches we won only 3 against 10 losses. However, being a young team and losing only one senior this year, Phil Whitson, we expect a much improved season next fall. Our MVP for the 1986 season was Junior Sam Gray. Sam did a good job this season playing 11:1 singles. As the season came to a close, Sam suffered a knee injury, which took him out of the Henryville match and caused him to miss match play in the sectional. Sam's effort and deter- mination serves as a good exam- ple for the whole team. The JV. Tennis Team played two matches with a 1-1 record. Thgnk you the Graduating class and all the other classes for making this book as colorful and exciting as possi le. EZEEH ESE BILL SCOTT For Someone who we loved so well, yet didnlt spend the time to tell. Another day has now gone by but tell me something, why did he die? Why was he taken? Especially so young, His life had only just begun. For silent tears that we have cried for his own love, he had died. Because of this, it brought us together, but let us mourn in our hearts forever, so let us take a time at rest, and let us be our very best. Remembering how he had always smiled with warmth all over his face. If only now he could run about wild, he could win this horrible race. Dedicated to Bill Scott From all his friends and the 1987 Senior Class MICHAEL BILYK Though some of us didnit know him well and some didnit express their feelings we all know deep down inside we feel great sorrow and disbelief. Some people ask us why we treat others differently and why we say things we really donit mean. I guess the reason is no one is the same. I think people need to take time out to think before they speak, and ask questions if they are concerned! The class of 1989 will remember the short part of life which Michael Bilyk spent with us. Dedicated to Michael Bilyk From all his friends at Borden High E II x - K . wtw..'as : ; , 4 a The 1986-87 school year at Borden High School has come to a close, and so has Echoes Games Peo- ple Play. The doors of the school have closed behind us, the same doors that have opened the world of friends, fun, excitement, and tears. The times we shared the first day and the tears we shed the last day. Games People Play captures the first moment to the last. Now, the time and effort in- vested by each member of the staff seems a million miles away. For at this time we hold the finished product in our hand. If you laugh, cry, and enjoy as you thumb through Games People Play, then we, the Echoes i87 staff have served our purpose well. Thanks for the memories. wyja, NV 24?
