hLefn The sophomore class was victorious in the poster contest with a little help from Mr. T. Junior Tony Nicks put up a good fight in the pie eating contest but was defeated by Senior Kevin Potts. hBottomh The senior class pulled away with a victory while backed by a cheering crowd.

16 Earning the following titles are: Chief-Senior Matt Adam; SquaW-Senior Melody Day; Brave-Sth grader Sam Gray; and PapooseeSth grader Wendy Peay. The awesome Junior Sack Race Team defeated all other teams in this competi- tion to become Spirit Week Champs. The team includes: row l-Lesia Beam, Bryan Jackson, Kelly Kruer, and Michelle Green. Middle-Tony Akers. Row 2-Theresa Book, Brent Jackson, Tony Nicks, and Pam Nolot. Overpowering all other classes, the Senior Class was victorious in the wheel barrow race. As you can see their muscles were to their advantage. This team consists of: first row-Tim Haas and Jake Allen. Se- cond row-Matt Adam, Brian Hurst, Chris Gray, and Brian White. Not Pictured-Tim Klein and Tim Berryman.

1983a84h ' This years homecoming was quite an affair. The Booster Club, having the Christmas Spirit, put together their ideas and hard work to make this years homecoming a good one. The club selected several Christmas songs which the band played to support the theme. Even Santa Claus tplayed by Brian Hursti attended this years crowning. Receiving the title of the 1983-84 Homecom- ing Queen was Senior Melody Day. tRighti Our new 1983-84 BHS Homecom- ing Queen, Senior Melody Day. Last years queen, Junior Pam Nolot, puts the title sash on Melody as she waits to be escorted to the throne.
