IN .N m II During our twelve years of schooling, there are so many people who help us and are deserving of special recognition, sbutithis is an impossible task. However,. there are four people this year to whom we feel a special thanks is greatly deserved. The first is Loretta Roberson who is retiring after forty- two years of helping students. How do you give an adequate thank- you to someone who has dedicated her life to education? Mrs. loretta may be retired but she will never be forgotten by all those she has taught. Next, our sponsors, Charles Graninger and Juanice Dunn, have helped us in countless ways. We would never have made it if it had not been for their tireless dedication. They looked out? for our welfare even when We were too unconcerned to look out for ourselves. We will always remember their patience, kind- ness, and dedicated service tohour class. Lastly, Jack Lawson, janitor and friend, is retiring this year. A member of the silent force, he deserves our special thanks. What we messed up, Jack fixed up. We're sorry we kept you so busy Jack. While attempting to pick one special person to dedicate our 1972 annual to, we found that there is more than just one person who deserves this honor, so our task was somewhat difficult. There was one person though, that we have all grown to love and marvel at. She has the stamina to put up with all our teasing and yet tease us back; the courage to face us everyday and still smile. She has been a tower of strength for when we have wanted to give up and said, It'll never work, she said Of course it will, and she showed us what patience means because with her help it always did work. Many times when we knew what we had finished would do but could be better. She told us it was good which gave us confidence so that we believed in our- selves and strived to to do our best. But we were never told that she went back on her own and made it perfect for us too. She has built us up but never let us down, and all of the honors we could give her would never be enough to re- pay what she has given to us. We hope that this one small honor ShOWS in some small way our sincerest appreciation and thanks for being the wonder- ful person that you are. Even though we'll never be able to fully repay you Miss Nicholson, we hope that you'll accept this honor with the class of '7 2's love.
