Dedication We, the Class of 1971, feel that our school is very fortunate to have had Mr. Wynn as Principal for the last four years. In this time of unrest, disorder, and lack of discipline among many of America's high school students, it is a great tribute to him that students at Borden High School have not followed this pattern of unrest. Instead, understanding and rapport have been built among our students and between our students and teachers. This outstanding educator has constantly inspired us by the example of his enthusiasm for his job, his friendly and humorous personality, and his Christian life. He has dedicated his energies to serving us; therefore, we dedicate our yearbook to him as a small token of our great appreciation. Foul trouble, poor shooting percentages, and numerous floor errors plagued the team throughout the season. There were some bright Spots, however, as Borden made Charleston Work for their 76-70 win. In the sectional the Braves gave the defending sectional champs, North Harrison, an unexpected scare. In addition to discussing and acting upon various issues, the Student Council sponsored a Week of Activities in November to boost student spirit. Included among the activities were tugs of war, sack races, teaching of classes of Council members, a pro- gram which revealed many comic experiences of the faculty members, and a Sadie Hawkins Race and Dance. The winners of a Lil Abner-Daisy Mae Contest, Jim Taylor and Bert Koerber, were honored at the Dance. The Studeht Council has written and ratfied a very pro- gressive Constitution which will initiate many reforms and new procedures. il 99 Student Counc Teachers r o .m e S as .m g n .U a .H or e H a C M.
