2 PRINCIPALiS MESSAGE Mr. Harry A. Jones, Principal MEDITATION S I have the honor of having had the longest tenure of any principal to serve Borden High School. One of the nicest things about this job is the opportunity it affords to talk with young people about their problems and their futures. Nothing is more challenging than facing enthusiastic boys and girls. If during the 30 years I have been connected with youth Ihave been able to encourage them to seek higher education, I am thank- ful. If during this time I have been able in a small way to lead them by word and in example to be better citizens and better men and women, I shall always be grateful. Teaching has been a labor of love for me and I know that my interest in boys and girls will not end with my retirement from the teaching profession.
