EDITOPJQ NOTE Our annual has at last been completed, and we are very proud of our efforts. The annual staff has worked hard and long on it, but we have learned much and have enjoyed the work. Even if we became discouraged at times, we have tried to make the annual a success. We, the annual staff, hope that all of you enjoy read- ing it and that it may serve in years to come as a happy reminder of the 1963-64 school year. As you turn through the pages in later years, we hope that they will make you smile and recall the good old days- at Borden High. Many people have contributed to the production of this annual, and I, as edi- tor, would like to first recognize the helpfulness ofthe annual staff. They have worked well togetherg I don't believe I could have had a better staff. I would like to thank Mrs. Jarrett for all the assistance she has given us. We certainly could not have done the work without her. Next, I would like to thank the ones who helped sell the advertisements and the many businesses and individuals who bought ads. These people have made this annual possible, and perhaps we owe our greatest debt of gratitude to them. I am also grateful to Mr, Vincent for the help and considera- tion he has shown us. He took time out to compose a message for us to read and remember in later years, I appreciate the opportunity that I have had in serving the journalism class and school as editor of the 1963-64 COYOTE, and I will always remember it as an hon- or and a privilege to have been selected for this job.
