Borah Presents began its season with a well known Neil T Simon Comedy, The Odd Cou- ple. Miss Sharene Stirnweis, Borah's drama instructor, chose this particular play because the fast pace and brilliant comic lines are big crowd pleasers. The winter show was a travel- ing children's theatre, two-year tradition at Christmas time. The play was an adaption of J.R.R. Tolkein's The Hobbit called The Adventure of Bilbo Baggins. The special effects such as a sky drop set, black lights and flo- rescent costumes and makeup made the show especially chal- lenging. Three Suggestions for a Tril- ogy, a collection of student directed plays was the mid-win- ter show. Becky Oakes, Rick Gasporalti, and Jenny Sternling each chose plays that were experimental in form. Becky used a short play. Rick directed a mime troupe, Jenny wrote l and directed a musical. Rick Gasporatti Crighty directed mime actors Gunar Forland, Nancy Harms, and Ruth Jacobson.

The Adventure of Bilbo Baggins, from The Hobbit was acted out by Dan Oakes, Julia Franklen, Stacy Ericson, Norm Sewell, Celesta Lee, Mark McCain, Kirk Vincen Christ t, Bill Graham, Chris Wachter, Dave Farnsworth, Bambi Robson, Janet Elliot, Barbara Manin, Jenny Sternling, and Becky Oakes. It was the traditional mas play put on tor local grade-schools. Club produces comedy, traveling theatre have THESPIANS: FRONT: Joanne Olson, Craig Strobel, Jenny Sternlingg S. Stirnweiss, adviser.
